Thinventory appoints Adam Smith as new Managing Director
Adam Smith has been appointed as Managing Director of Thinventory to support its next growth phase.
Adam, who joined on September 1st, brings extensive experience in general management, sales, commercial leadership, and logistics. Before joining Thinventory, he held Managing Director and Sales & Marketing Director roles at G4S and has also served in senior positions across other leading brands in the sector.
With 25 years of experience, Thinventory delivers critical parts to engineers, helping customers meet tight SLAs, optimise their field inventory and operate more efficiently.

Thinventory supports the logistics and operational requirements of field engineers across multiple industries, including utilities, telco, IT, healthcare and data centres. With its HQ in Slough, Thinventory operates nine distribution centres across the UK, with key sites including Coventry, Solihull, Bristol and Glasgow.
Thinventory was recently recognised with two finalist placings by judges in a prestigious industry awards. The company was shortlisted for “Last Mile Delivery Business of the Year” and “Most Innovative Product of the Year” at Logistics UK’s flagship Logistics Awards 2025, with the winners to be announced on 11th December.
