Founded in 2000, Thinventory Group Holdings Limited incorporating Thinventory Holdings Limited and Thinventory Limited is a global provider of field service technology and logistics, offering creative solutions helping improve engineer productivity and optimise inventory performance.

Thinventory has been designed with field service in mind. With hundreds of customers across the globe, Thinventory improves engineer efficiency, reduces distribution spend and environmental footprint, minimises inventory and increases supply chain visibility. For our customers, our unique combination of software and expertise from Thinventory has fast become the final word when it comes to field service inventory distribution and reverse logistics.

This policy is established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 50001:2018.

Our Commitments:

  • Comply with all applicable legal and other requirements related to environmental protection, energy use, and energy efficiency.
  • Prevent pollution and minimise environmental impact by managing emissions, waste, resource use, and other environmental aspects across all activities.
  • Reduce energy performance and consumption and promote energy efficiency throughout our operations by:
    • Implementing the hierarchy of waste management (reduce, reuse, recycle).
    • Procuring energy-efficient technologies and equipment.
    • Designing energy-conscious infrastructure and projects.
    • Monitoring and improving energy use and consumption.
    • Investment in energy saving technologies
  • Use resources responsibly, including energy, water, and raw materials, and promote the sustainable use of natural resources.
  • Continually improve environmental and energy performance, ensuring our systems adapt to changing conditions and business objectives.
  • Promote environmental and energy awareness through staff engagement, communication, and sharing of best practices.
  • Work with suppliers and external partners who align with our environmental and energy goals, and encourage shared responsibility across the value chain.
  • Assess environmental and energy aspects and impacts during planning, design, procurement, and daily operations along with other relevant and decision-making processes.
  • Support the use of renewable energy and low-carbon alternatives where feasible.
  • Provide appropriate resources and training to meet our environmental and energy objectives, including investment in tools, processes, and awareness initiatives.
  • Collaborate openly and transparently with our customers to support their environmental goals by sharing data, insights, and best practices that contribute to mutual sustainability outcomes.
  • Lead by example in our sector by developing innovative, environmentally conscious solutions—through inventive design, technology, and service concepts—that help customers reduce their own environmental impact.

Employee Involvement:

We promote a culture of environmental stewardship and energy awareness at all levels. Everyone working for or on behalf of Thinventory is expected to:

  • Take ownership of their impact on the environment and energy use.
  • Identify opportunities for environmental and energy improvements.
  • Report environmental incidents, energy wastage, or suggestions for improvement.

 Monitoring, Review and Communication:

This policy:

  • Is reviewed periodically to ensure it remains relevant, effective, and aligned with business strategy and compliance obligations.
  • Is communicated to all employees and shared with contractors, suppliers, and other interested parties when beneficial to support our environmental and energy objectives.

 Our Key Objectives for 2025 to 2030:

To support this policy, we commit to the following

  • Maintain 100% procurement of certified green electricity across all depots, warehouse, and office locations.
  • Eliminate the use of natural gas from operational depot and warehouse locations where technically and commercially feasible by 2030
  • Achieve and maintain 100% electric‑powered MHE across all operational sites by 2027, replacing diesel or LPG equipment at end of life or earlier where feasible.
  • Deliver a minimum 30% reduction in diesel‑powered deliveries by 2030, compared to a 2024 baseline, through: route optimisation and consolidation, adoption of alternative transport solutions, active engagement with courier partners to support their transition to electric and low‑emission vehicles
  • Work collaboratively with customers to support the achievement of their environmental objectives by embedding sustainability considerations into the design and delivery of our services
  • Eliminate reliance on paper within operational areas by 2028, leveraging digital systems, workflow automation, and mobile technologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Engage with colleagues across the business in delivering targets and fostering a culture of environmental and energy responsibility.
