The dynamic nature of field service means that in some situations it’s important that field technicians can select the next job to work on, perhaps due to it’s urgency or because the technician is already nearby. In these cases parts can be securely held close to the customer and once the job is assigned to the field technician can then select the inventory order and pick up the parts they need.

This allocation approach provides scheduling flexibility and ensures that any field technician can be allocated rather than be reliant on a single technician who’s carrying the required parts in their van. Watch our short video to find out more.
